FAQ

Do you offer online tutoring?

Yes. All tutoring sessions are currently offered online. Sessions are conducted via video conferencing with shared digital workspaces to support real-time collaboration and problem solving.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for 24 hours’ notice if a session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged one-third of the session fee, as short-notice changes make it difficult to offer the time to another student.

I understand that unexpected situations arise and aim to be fair while maintaining a consistent schedule.

Do you offer group sessions?

Yes, small group tutoring sessions (up to four students) may be available depending on scheduling. Group sessions can be particularly helpful for exam preparation or collaborative homework support.

Please contact me to discuss availability and suitability.

How do you accept payment?

Payment is accepted via PayPal. Details are provided after booking confirmation.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. A free 15-minute consultation is available for new students and families to discuss goals, current challenges, and whether tutoring is a good fit.

Do you support students with learning differences?

Yes. I have experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia, and adapt sessions accordingly.

How often should sessions be scheduled?

Session frequency varies depending on the student’s needs. Some students benefit from weekly sessions, while others prefer short-term or exam-focused support. This can be discussed during the initial consultation.

What subjects and curricula do you support?

I support students studying AP, IB, VCE, and other secondary curricula, as well as undergraduate physics and mathematics. A full list of subjects can be found on the Services page.
