Tutoring Policies & Conduct

Committed to Your Needs

Professional Conduct & Expectations

My goal is to provide a respectful, safe, and supportive learning environment for all students. Effective tutoring relies on mutual respect, clear communication, and appropriate boundaries between students, families, and tutor.

Respectful Learning Environment

Tutoring sessions are conducted in a professional, inclusive, and non-judgmental manner. Students are encouraged to ask questions, express ideas, and engage thoughtfully with the learning process.

Expected behavior includes:

* Courteous and respectful communication
* Openness to feedback and guidance
* Consideration for differing perspectives and learning styles
* Appropriate language and conduct during sessions

Unacceptable Conduct

Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to:

* Offensive, discriminatory, or demeaning language
* Personal attacks, intimidation, or threats
* Inappropriate comments or behavior
* Repeated disregard for stated boundaries
* Continued communication after a request to stop

Tutoring sessions are professional educational interactions, and expectations align with that standard.

Boundaries and Safety

All tutoring is conducted online in a professional setting. Students and families are expected to respect time boundaries, communication guidelines, and session expectations.

Any behavior that compromises safety, respect, or the learning environment may result in suspension or termination of services.

Concerns or Issues

If concerns arise, I encourage respectful and timely communication so they can be addressed constructively.

I reserve the right to discontinue services if conduct expectations are not met.

Commitment to Learning

Learning is most effective when built on trust, curiosity, and mutual respect. My aim is to create a space where students feel supported, challenged, and confident as they develop academic skills and independence.
